Washington Calls on Iraqi Government to Bring Perpetrators of Armed Attack in Karkh to Justice

The US Embassy in Baghdad called on the Iraqi government on Monday to bring the perpetrators of the Dora attack to trial.
In a statement, it confirmed that elements of Kata'ib Hezbollah carried out the attack on the Ministry of Agriculture in the Karkh side of Baghdad on Sunday.
The embassy also expressed condolences to the families of the victims who were killed in the attack targeting one of the departments of the Ministry of Agriculture in Baghdad on July 27.
It urged the Iraqi government to take swift action to bring those responsible for the attack and their leaders to justice, emphasizing that accountability is essential to uphold the rule of law and prevent the recurrence of such incidents.
