The Syrian Democratic Forces announced the postponement of talks with the Damascus government, attributing the reason to what they described as the complex situation the country is going through on both security and political levels.
The meeting scheduled to be held in Paris has also been postponed without setting a new date, due to what sources described as "the complex security situation."
SDF expressed gratitude to French and American diplomats for their mediation in the ongoing negotiation process, confirming that concrete complementary steps will be taken soon in this regard.
This postponement comes at a time when the Syrian arena is witnessing an escalation in tensions, amid clear obstacles in the political process and multiple attempts to revive dialogue channels between various parties.
