"Voluntarily".. 44 thousand Syrians have returned from Jordan.
The Jordanian Minister of Interior, Mazen Al-Faraya, announced that more than 44,000 Syrians have voluntarily returned to their country through the "Jaber-Nasib" border crossing between Syria and Jordan.
The Jordanian Minister of Interior stated that "the crossing is witnessing active shipping movement and increasing cooperation between the Jordanian and Syrian sides," as reported by the Jordanian channel "Al-Mamlaka" today, Tuesday, March 4.
Al-Faraya added after his visit to the "Jaber" border crossing that "the Jordanian government has allocated 3.7 million dinars to develop the yards and logistical services at the center as part of a comprehensive plan to improve border crossings."
The Syrian Foreign Minister, Asaad Al-Shaaban, held extensive talks with his Jordanian counterpart, Ayman Safadi, on Monday, March 3, on the sidelines of their participation in the preparatory ministerial meeting for the extraordinary Arab summit.
