Verstappen wins the fastest race in Formula 1 history in Monza, igniting the competition between Piastri and Norris

Despite starting from pole position, Verstappen fell behind Lando Norris at the beginning of the race, before regaining the lead and extending his advantage to 19.2 seconds, achieving his third victory of the season and the 66th of his career.
Meanwhile, the race saw controversy within the McLaren team, after Australian Oscar Piastri was asked to let his teammate Norris pass him due to a slow pit stop.
Charles Leclerc of Ferrari came in fourth, followed by George Russell from Mercedes in fifth, while Lewis Hamilton finished sixth in his first race at the circuit as a Ferrari driver.
