Turkish officials: Continuing to evaluate establishing a training base to enhance the capabilities of the Syrian army.

The military sources, as reported by media outlets, indicated that "the Quint meeting in Jordan reached an agreement to support Syria in combating terrorism."
The sources explained that "there is consensus among the concerned countries to establish a joint operations center following a request from the Syrian government."
Approximately a week ago, the Turkish army sent a military convoy to the Manbij airport north of Aleppo, which is expected to become the first joint base between Damascus and Ankara.
The Turkish newspaper "Hürriyet" highlighted the possibility of providing the Syrian army with advanced Turkish defense products as part of the cooperation between the two parties, in addition to sending Turkish military advisors to Damascus to contribute to restructuring the Syrian army.
