Turkey warns of the consequences of Israeli attacks on Syria and reaffirms its support for a political solution

In a phone call with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio, Turkish counterpart Hakan Fidan warned of the repercussions of repeated Israeli attacks on Syrian territories, affirming that these actions "undermine regional peace efforts," according to Anadolu Agency.
Fidan stressed that any violation of the safety, unity, and sovereignty of Syrian territories "exacerbates the problem," calling for a return to calm in Syria as soon as possible.
Fidan also emphasized the importance of implementing agreements among Syrian parties, considering that the current opportunity to build a stable future for the Syrian people "should not be missed."
The Turkish minister expressed his country's support for the "constructive" American efforts in Syria, confirming Ankara's readiness to cooperate with Washington and other countries to achieve lasting stability in the region. He also underscored the necessity of preventing terrorist organizations from exploiting developments in southern Syria, according to the official statement.
