Turkey: The necessity of lifting all sanctions imposed on Syria without any preconditions.

The Anadolu Agency reported that "this came during a consultative meeting with the British side in Ankara yesterday, where officials from the Turkish and British foreign ministries discussed the issue of lifting sanctions imposed on Syria during the previous regime."
Diplomatic sources in the Turkish Foreign Ministry today explained that the consultations, chaired by Turkish Deputy Foreign Minister Nooh Yılmaz and British Minister of State for the Middle East, North Africa, Afghanistan, and Pakistan James Cleverly, specifically addressed the complete lifting of sanctions on Syria without preconditions and ensuring the flow of financial resources to it.
The sources also noted that "issues of reconstruction and economic development in Syria were also discussed, while Yılmaz briefed the British side on Turkey's assessments of the security, humanitarian, and economic situation in Syria."
It was agreed to continue consultations between Turkey and Britain on regional issues, especially Syria.
