Tunisian Donates His Rare Boat and Personally Leads It in the Freedom Fleet Towards Gaza

Tunisian citizen Hossam Eddin Ben Taher donated his rare boat, of which only 11 copies exist worldwide, to the Freedom Fleet heading towards Gaza, affirming that "everything is trivial for the sake of Palestine".
Ben Taher explained in a video clip circulated on social media that his motivation for the donation stems from his belief that participating in the fleet is a moral duty, saying: "The boat is very dear to me, but everything is trivial for the sake of Gaza and Palestine. If I do not participate, it will remain a stain on my forehead."
He added that he did not stop at donating the boat, which he purchased in 2021, but decided to personally lead it towards the shores of Gaza in an attempt to break the siege imposed on the sector. Ben Taher confirmed: "One of the dearest things I can leave for my children is to struggle for justice and freedom and Palestine; this is the greatest lesson I leave for them."
He indicated that he is ready to face all risks during the journey, describing the participation as extremely important to him.
It is noteworthy that about 20 ships set sail at the end of last August as part of the global Freedom Fleet from the Spanish port of Barcelona, followed by another convoy from the Italian port of Genoa, and a third convoy from Tunisia is expected to join before continuing its journey towards Gaza. The fleet includes the Freedom Flotilla Coalition, the Global Gaza Movement, the Resilience Convoy, and the Malaysian organization "Resilience Nusantara".
The Israeli occupation has imposed a tight siege on the Gaza Strip since last March, closing the crossings and only allowing limited amounts of aid to enter, with casualties among Palestinians occurring while they wait for that aid.
