The Syrian state condemned the violations and abuses against the people of Sweida, emphasizing its commitment to hold accountable anyone proven to be involved.

In a statement, the Syrian state said it "closely followed the regrettable violations that recently targeted some areas in the Sweida province," adding that "these acts, which fall within criminal and illegal behaviors, are unacceptable under any circumstances and completely contradict the principles on which the Syrian state is based."

The Syrian state reiterated its strong condemnation of these "heinous acts," emphasizing its "full commitment to investigating all related incidents and holding accountable anyone implicated."

The statement mentioned that "any party responsible for these acts, whether individual or unlawful organizations, will face severe legal accountability, and we will not allow them to pass without punishment."

The statement emphasized that "the Syrian state, with its leadership and institutions, gives top priority to protecting security and stability throughout Syria," affirming that "justice is the standard we operate by in all cases."

The Syrian state assured the people of Sweida that "their rights will always be safeguarded" and that "it will not allow any party to jeopardize their security and stability."
