The Syrian national basketball team qualifies for the Asian Cup finals after defeating the Bahraini team.

The Syrian national basketball team qualified for the Asian Nations Championship after defeating the Bahraini team 89-87 in the final match of the third Asian window held in Doha, Qatar.

This came after a good performance by the Syrian team, which dominated from the beginning, widening the gap amidst the Bahraini team's confusion against Syria's strong and cohesive defense. The Syrian players showed good individual and team performance.

Syria's coach, Haitham Jameel, made appropriate substitutions, allowing the team to balance performance and results, scoring from all distances and directions.

 The Bahraini team managed to reduce the gap to two points before Syria regained control of the match and secured the victory.

It is worth mentioning that Syria won the opening match of the third Asian window against the UAE with a 25-point difference, 86-61.
