The Syrian Ministry of Sports and Youth excludes a coach and two players from the women's basketball national team.

The Ministry of Sports and Youth issued a decision this morning, Saturday, April 5th, to exclude coach Ayman Sleiman, the coach of the women's basketball national team, along with the players Sidra Sleiman and Noura Bishara from the current team lineup.

This comes as preparations are underway in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, for participation in the upcoming West Asia Championship set to take place soon in Jordan.

The decision was made following reports that the players took photos in the national team uniform without the official flag, sparking controversy in the sports community.

The decision also includes banning the coach and players from participating in any sports activities during the current period.
