The Syrian Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor has announced the reactivation of the labor market platform as part of its efforts to enhance employment opportunities and meet the local market's needs for competencies.

This decision aims to balance job seekers and employers, as stated in a ministry statement.

The ministry's media office explained that the platform is an "advanced national tool" designed to connect employers with suitable competencies, effectively and quickly filling job vacancies.

The platform also provides a comprehensive database on labor market requirements, as well as facilitates beneficiaries' access to training and qualification programs to enhance their skills.

The statement highlighted that the developed system will help job seekers make informed career decisions, enhancing their chances of securing jobs that match their qualifications and aspirations.

Furthermore, the ministry reaffirmed its commitment to supporting employment policies and enhancing cooperation between the public and private sectors "to achieve sustainable development and meet the increasing needs of youth."

Moreover, the ministry is working on strengthening its partnerships with government and private institutions to address modern challenges in the labor market, enabling youth to compete in an advanced work environment. The statement described the platform as a "means to improve labor market efficiency and make recruitment processes smoother and more effective."
