The Syrian Ministry of Agriculture received today, Monday, a gift from the Qatari Foundation of Hamad bin Khalifa, as part of Qatar's supportive efforts to Syria in various fields. According to "SANA," Minister of Agriculture Dr. Amjad Badr explained that the foundation sent several agricultural equipment, including 25 tractors and 25 plows, to support the government's agricultural sector in Syria. Minister Badr emphasized the importance of enhancing Syrian-Qatari relations to improve the agricultural sector and advance it towards betterment, noting that Qatar stands by Syria in various fields to confront the challenges it faces. The minister expressed the ministry's gratitude to the Qatari foundation for this generous initiative and its efforts in supporting the development process in Syria. The foundation had sent a Qatari aid plane on May 14th carrying agricultural equipment and 60 tons of food aid as part of Qatar's supportive efforts to Syria.
