The Syrian Commercial Bank announced today, Wednesday, in coordination with the Ministry of Finance and the Central Bank of Syria, a set of immediate measures to facilitate the salary disbursement process and alleviate the burdens on retirees.

In a statement, the bank confirmed that it has raised the daily withdrawal limit via "POS" devices in its branches to one million Syrian Lira, starting Thursday, allowing retirees to withdraw their entire salary in one go after the recent increase.

The statement mentioned that the operating hours of the ATMs have been extended for the longest possible period to ensure service continuity and avoid interruptions, enabling customers to withdraw their dues with a limit of 600,000 Syrian Lira weekly.

The bank indicated an increase in the cash flow allocated to it, ensuring full coverage of pension salary payments on time. It urged retirees who have not yet settled their salaries to initiate the request to transfer their salaries to an ATM card, to benefit from the new withdrawal limit and the available electronic services.
