The Ministry of Justice has sent messages today to judges, the Bar Association, and law faculties at universities, requesting proposals related to amending current laws. This step is part of the ministry's efforts to develop the legal legislative system and provide more just and fair laws that align with society's aspirations and needs. The ministry, through an official post on its Facebook page, stated that it aims to benefit from the experiences and observations of judges, law professors, and postgraduate students. Emphasis was placed on the importance of their role in studying laws and identifying legal gaps that may hinder justice. It is expected that these proposals will contribute to formulating legislation that enhances social justice and provides a more stable legal environment. As part of this initiative, the ministry has asked heads of judicial bodies to inform all courts, judicial circuits, and public prosecution offices to submit their proposals regarding the proposed legislative amendments. These proposals must include appropriate legislative solutions to the challenges and obstacles they face in their daily duties. The goal is to achieve fair legislation and a judiciary that effectively and swiftly guarantees citizens' rights. Additionally, the Ministry of Justice has sent a letter to the Bar Association, requesting their proposals related to the proposed legislative amendments after consulting with affiliated lawyers. Lawyers are an essential part of the judicial system, possessing extensive experience in dealing with laws and their application, making their opinions necessary in the amendment process. This step comes at a time when there is increasing talk about the need to update laws to keep pace with social and economic changes and to better meet the needs of citizens. It is expected that this initiative will improve the efficiency of the judicial system and enhance trust between citizens and legal authorities, ultimately helping achieve the desired justice. In conclusion, this step by the Ministry of Justice reflects its commitment to developing legal legislation and enhancing cooperation with stakeholders in this field, heralding a new phase of legal work aimed at achieving justice and equality for all.
