Amid the rapid security developments in the province of Al-Suwayda, and in order to ensure the safety of citizens and guarantee the continuity of health services, the Syrian Ministry of Health announced an immediate medical response in direct coordination with the governor of Al-Suwayda, as part of an emergency response plan.
The medical convoy consists of 20 fully equipped ambulances, accompanied by a highly prepared specialized medical team, in addition to large quantities of necessary medications and medical supplies, with the aim of providing immediate medical support to the affected areas and ensuring the arrival of health services to citizens without interruption.
In an urgent statement, the Syrian Minister of Health said: "I will lead a medical delegation consisting of 20 fully equipped ambulances, with specialized medical teams and quantities of medications and medical supplies to the province of Al-Suwayda, after opening safe passages, to ensure the arrival of healthcare to our people there as quickly as possible".
The minister emphasized that this move is in response to field developments and reflects the ministry's commitment to its national and professional duty towards the Syrian people in all provinces, especially in emergency circumstances.
The convoy will depart in the coming hours, and the ministry is on high alert and fully prepared to provide any additional medical support as needed, indicating that this step is part of a comprehensive national plan for rapid response in emergency situations in cooperation with relevant authorities.
