The Ministry of Administrative Development reinstates those who were dismissed for participating in the Syrian revolution to their positions.

The Syrian Ministry of Administrative Development has announced the start of the practical phase to rehire employees who were previously dismissed due to their participation in the Syrian revolution, in line with the government's policy aiming to rectify the situations of those affected by the previous regime's actions.
Minister of Administrative Development, Mohammad Al-Skaf, stated in an exclusive interview with the Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) that the ministry has reviewed thousands of requests for reinstatement of dismissed employees in the Ministry of Education, with a total of 22,644 requests, having completed the study of 14,646 files. He added that the final lists of those included in the decision will be issued tomorrow.
Al-Skaf continued: "There is ongoing coordination with all ministries to address the remaining cases within a specific timeframe, to ensure the employees regain their rights without delay."
The minister emphasized that "this step comes within the framework of enhancing job justice and putting an end to previous administrative violations, contributing to restoring trust in state institutions."
This announcement comes after the Ministry of Administrative Development called on those dismissed due to revolutionary activities at the beginning of March to contact the relevant authorities to complete the procedures for their return to work.
The ministry had previously issued a circular to organize the process of rehiring those dismissed in ministries and public institutions who were affected by dismissal decisions during the years of the revolution.
In a related context, the Ministry of Administrative Development revealed late last year a project aimed at establishing an integrated data system for government employees to improve general administration efficiency and address employment irregularities.
