Minister of Information, Dr. Hamza Al-Mustafa, met on Sunday with Minister of Education, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Turkou, to discuss the mechanisms of cooperation between the two ministries in preparation for the General Certificate Exams for the year 2025. This is part of a comprehensive plan to provide a smooth exam environment for students, supporting them psychologically and educationally.

During the meeting, Dr. Al-Mustafa affirmed the readiness of the ministry and all its media institutions to provide the necessary facilities for the planned media campaign starting from June 14th. The aim is to offer psychological and exam guidance to students in a way that ensures a calm and organized exam atmosphere, free from any challenges or pressures.

In turn, the Minister of Education explained that the ministry has developed a comprehensive plan for the 2025 session, including a series of psychological and educational guidance for students before the exams to achieve mental preparedness. This includes educational videos inside exam halls, especially for independent students, to clarify the process of automated exams being conducted for the first time this year.

He also highlighted the strict security measures implemented to ensure the protection and confidentiality of exam questions throughout all preparation and transportation stages.

The Minister of Education also mentioned that the successful restoration and reconstruction projects of more than 205 schools in collaboration with various organizations have contributed to enhancing the readiness of educational institutions for the exam process.

It is worth noting that over 730,000 students are preparing to take the exams for the Basic and Secondary Education Certificates in various specialties, through more than 2,500 exam centers distributed across various Syrian provinces.
