The Minister of Health discusses in Geneva with a delegation from the World Health Organization ways to enhance mutual cooperation.

Minister of Health, Dr. Mosaab Al-Ali, met on Wednesday with a delegation from the World Health Organization led by the Regional Director of the Eastern Mediterranean Region, Dr. Hanan Balkhi, to discuss ways to enhance mutual cooperation at the United Nations headquarters in Geneva. Participants at the meeting, held on the sidelines of the 78th World Health Assembly, discussed mechanisms for technical and technological support to improve the quality of healthcare services and ensure their sustainability. Both sides emphasized the importance of continued coordination and mutual cooperation to strengthen the Syrian health system's ability to respond to current and future health needs. Minister Al-Ali stressed the need for the organization to focus its efforts on supporting projects that enhance the capabilities of the healthcare sector in Syria amidst the current challenges.
