Israeli Army Announces Attack on Several Tanks in the Village of Samia, Sweida Governorate

The Israeli army announced today, Monday, that it attacked several tanks in the area of the village of Samia in the Sweida Governorate in southern Syria.
The Israeli army said in a statement: "Preliminary report - a short while ago, the Israeli Defense Forces struck a number of tanks in southern Syria, and details will be announced later".
The Israeli army radio quoted a military official as saying that targeting Syrian tanks in Sweida comes in the context of "terrorist attacks against the Druze".
Meanwhile, Israeli Channel 12 quoted a security source confirming that Syrian tanks crossed the line defined by Israel inside Syria, so they were attacked by aircraft.
