"The Kremlin will direct".. Kremlin responds to inquiries about the attendance of the Syrian leadership at the first Russian-Arab summit

The Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov announced that invitations will be extended to the Syrian authorities to attend the summit between Russia and the Arab League scheduled for next October.
This came in Peskov's press briefing today, Tuesday, where he responded to a question from journalists about whether the Kremlin expects the new Syrian leadership to attend the summit between Russia and the Arab countries to be held in October: "Of course, such invitations will be extended".
The Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova had earlier mentioned that invitations had already been sent on behalf of Russian President Vladimir Putin to all the leaders of the Arab League countries and the Secretary-General of the League to participate in the first Russian-Arab summit scheduled for October 15.
In turn, Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov stated that almost all Arab countries have expressed interest in participating in the summit to be held in Russia in October.
