The Internal Security Forces dismantle a cell affiliated with "ISIS" in Idlib and seize a weapons depot

In a joint security operation, the Internal Security Forces in Idlib province, in cooperation with the General Intelligence Agency, managed to dismantle a terrorist cell affiliated with "ISIS" in the Harim area, as announced by the Ministry of Interior through its official channel on "Telegram".
The head of internal security in Idlib, Brigadier General Ghassan Muhammad Bakir, stated that the operation resulted in "the complete dismantling of the terrorist cell", explaining that its members were involved in a series of assassination operations targeting "three individuals in the town of Salqin, another in the town of Azmarin in western Idlib, in addition to one person in the village of Kaftin in northern Idlib, all of whom are of Iraqi nationality".
Brigadier General Bakir added that the special task unit seized during the operation a "weapons depot" containing a "suicide vest, explosive devices, sniper rifles, light machine guns, mortars, in addition to explosive materials and a workshop dedicated to manufacturing and booby-trapping", confirming that all seized items were confiscated.
He concluded his statement by affirming the continued commitment of the internal security forces to "perform their national duty with determination and steadfastness, until uprooting anyone who dares to threaten the security of the homeland and its citizens".
