Sheikh Hikmat Al-Hajri, one of the sheikhs of the Druze Monotheists sect in Syria, announced the imminent implementation of a detainee exchange operation between his affiliated groups and tribal fighters, this evening, Sunday, in the countryside of As-Suwayda.
Al-Hajri, in an official statement, called for an immediate cessation of military operations and the withdrawal of all government forces from the vicinity of As-Suwayda and its towns, including the army, security forces, and what he described as "militias".
He also emphasized the urgent need to restore internet and communication services to ensure the communication of residents and facilitate the exchange process, demanding the immediate release of detainees under the guarantee of the sponsoring countries of the agreement.
He stressed the importance of the cooperation of the people of As-Suwayda to ensure the success of the exchange, specifying six o'clock in the evening in the square of Um Al-Zaitoun village as the time for its implementation.
