Internal Security Commander in Al-Suwayda Commends the Spiritual Leadership of the Druze

The Internal Security Commander in the province of Al-Suwayda, Colonel Ahmed Aldalati, praised the call made by the spiritual leadership of the Druze Monotheists, urging all armed factions in the province to cooperate with the Ministry of Interior forces and hand over their weapons.

A statement published by the Ministry of Interior on its "Telegram" channel stated: "We welcome the stance of the spiritual leadership of the Druze Monotheists, represented by His Eminence Sheikh Hikmat Al-Hajri, and we commend this responsible national position".

The statement added: "We call on all religious authorities and social entities to take a unified national stance that supports the Ministry of Interior's measures in establishing state authority and achieving security throughout the province".

Colonel Aldalati also issued a call to the leaders of armed factions not subject to the law, saying: "We appeal to the leaders of factions and armed groups operating outside the law to cease any actions that obstruct the entry of the Ministry of Interior and Defense forces, and to fully cooperate by handing over their weapons to the relevant authorities, in order to preserve civil peace, safeguard the security of citizens, and maintain the stability of the country".
