The Gulf Cooperation Council expressed its strongest condemnation and denunciation of the Israeli occupation forces' attacks on the territories of the sisterly Arab Republic of Syria, considering them a blatant violation of Syria's sovereignty, a breach of international laws and norms, and a serious threat to regional security and stability.

In a statement, the Secretary-General of the Council, Jassim Mohammed Al-Bedaiwi, emphasized that the continuation of these repeated and ongoing attacks by the Israeli occupation forces constitutes irresponsible escalation and a disregard for the efforts of the international community aimed at achieving security and stability in Syria and the region.

The Secretary-General reiterated the Council's firm and supportive stance towards the unity and territorial integrity of Syria, and its complete rejection of any external interference that undermines its sovereignty or exacerbates the suffering of its sisterly people.

The Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council called on the international community to shoulder its responsibilities to stop these serious violations, hold the perpetrators accountable, and work diligently to protect the Syrian people and preserve the sovereignty of the Arab Republic of Syria, in accordance with the principles of the United Nations Charter and the provisions of international law.
