The German envoy to Syria, Stefan Schink, expressed his welcome to the raising of the new Syrian flag in front of the United Nations headquarters, describing this step as a "historic day" reflecting Syria's return to the international community.

In a tweet posted by Schink on the platform "X": "It is a historic day, we welcome Syria and its new flag at the United Nations, Syria has returned to the international community, where we strive for human rights governance and ending torture, hunger, and armed conflicts."

The German envoy emphasized the importance of international cooperation in this path, saying: "We need partners in this battle for humanity, and Germany is ready to assist Syria to become a partner in these issues."
