The German Agency for International Cooperation Provides Medical Assistance for the "Our Pulse is One" Campaign at Al-Mujtahid Hospital in Damascus

In a statement to "SANA", Health Minister Dr. Musab Al-Ali emphasized the importance of the assistance in enhancing the work of the Syrian-German Medical Association "SIGMA" during its current campaign in Syria, providing greater services for patients, and stressed the necessity of these initiatives launched by Syrians abroad to help their families in Syria, indicating that the assistance provided is initial, and another quantity will arrive in the coming period.
Acting German Ambassador to Syria Clemens Hatsch confirmed Germany's support for the healthcare system in Syria, which has suffered many economic difficulties, disasters, incidents, and shortages of equipment and personnel, noting that the priority during the current period is to support the increasing needs for primary healthcare and mental health and to improve the quality of services provided.
The acting ambassador praised the efforts of Syrian health personnel who worked and committed under the most difficult circumstances to provide health and treatment services for patients, indicating that these efforts significantly contribute to the success of the current phase that Syria is going through.
Dr. Zakaria Harout, President of the Syrian-German Medical Association, also pointed out the importance of the assistance in supporting the association's work in Syria and facilitating surgical procedures, appreciating the support received from the ministry and organizations to ensure the success of medical work in Syria and the German support that embodies its deep commitment to humanitarian and health issues in Syria.
It is worth mentioning that the second phase of the "Our Pulse is One" campaign launched on July 15, and will continue until August 30, aiming to perform surgeries for patients in need, providing treatment services and free medical consultations, and training local medical teams on advanced surgical techniques available in Germany, along with workshops and scientific lectures to support health personnel.
