The General Organization for Social Insurance Completes Implementation of the Decree for a 200% Increase in Pensions in Syria

The Director of the General Organization for Social Insurance, Hassan Khatib, announced today, Friday, that the organization has completed the implementation of Decree No. (103) for the year 2025, which stipulates a 200% increase in pensions in Syria.
Khatib stated to the "SANA" agency that the total amount of pensions after the increase reached 423 billion Syrian pounds, benefiting 475,994 retirees.
According to Khatib, the increase in pensions will have a positive impact on retirees, and the organization is striving to continue fulfilling its commitments towards them.
It is noteworthy that Syrian President Ahmad al-Shara issued on June 22 last the Decree No. (103) for the year 2025, which grants pensioners covered by the existing insurance and pension laws a 200% increase from the pension applicable on the date of issuance of this decree.
