The Criminal Investigation Branch in Hama province arrested members of a drug trafficking gang today, Wednesday, after setting up a tight ambush for them and conducting thorough and continuous surveillance.
The Hama province announced via Telegram that the patrol executing the ambush seized 5000 Captagon pills and a kilogram of the narcotic substance 'hashish', in addition to a Kalashnikov assault rifle in the gang's possession.
The necessary procedures were carried out, and the individuals involved were referred to the competent judicial authorities for further investigations and legal actions against them.
