Amid escalating rumors about forced recruitment campaigns and youth arrests, the head of the recruitment department in Banias came out to categorically deny these claims, emphasizing that the Syrian army is a voluntary army par excellence, as confirmed by Mr. President Ahmed Al-Shar'a.
He also stressed the importance of not being swayed by false news circulated by some malicious pages, urging everyone to rely on official sources for accurate information.

In the same context, the deputy director of public security in Jablah denied the rumors of youth arrests, explaining that no such campaigns have been carried out, but rather a new checkpoint was added near the naval college.
He also urged citizens to provide any names rumored to have been arrested to verify the accuracy of the information.
