Engineer Amer Al-Ali, the head of the Central Authority for Monitoring and Inspection, announced the start of practical steps to restructure the authority and review the legal framework regulating its work, in line with the leadership's vision and institutional development goals.

In a special statement to "SANA Agency," Al-Ali confirmed that "government institutions inherited significant structural challenges from the previous regime, due to widespread corruption and disorganized management," pointing out that "political and security corruption was one of the most dangerous forms of corruption in the previous period, which ended with the removal of the former regime that restricted the freedom and rights of the Syrian people."

The head of the authority revealed a plan to adopt automation in monitoring operations to ensure efficiency and accuracy, with a focus on cooperation with public entities to enforce the law and enhance the policies adopted in state institutions.

He added: "We are working on enhancing institutional control, improving administrative performance quality, and services provided to citizens, with a strict commitment to combating administrative and financial corruption through clear procedures that adhere to transparency and professional standards."

Al-Ali pointed out that the authority, in cooperation with other institutions and with the support of the leadership, contributes to "building a state based on integrity and transparency, fulfilling the aspirations of the Syrian people," explaining that priority is given to "addressing deficiencies and protecting public funds, to ensure their use for the benefit of society."

He concluded his statement by emphasizing that "the Syrian people, who have suffered years of injustice, deserve full services and rights provided through fair institutions," promising citizens to "work with them to protect their legal rights and enhance trust in state institutions."
