The decision added, "This is due to her insistence on denying the Assad regime's crimes and disregarding the pains of the Syrian people." The Syrian actress Slaf Fawakherji is known for her supportive stance towards the ousted Assad regime. In a previous interview on the Egyptian channel "Al-Nahar," she denied the authenticity of the scenes from Sednaya prison circulated after the fall of the Assad regime, describing them as "fabricated." This led to a wave of criticism, with Syrians considering her disrespectful to the sacrifices and pains of the Syrian people under the ousted Assad regime.
