The arrival of the seventh humanitarian convoy to the Busra al-Sham corridor to support the people of Sweida

Today, the seventh humanitarian convoy arrived at the Busra al-Sham corridor, heading to Sweida Governorate, carrying urgent aid including food baskets, relief materials, and shelter supplies such as "mattresses and blankets".
The convoy consists of 28 trucks, including 19 trucks belonging to the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, and 9 trucks for the commercial sector, in addition to a truck loaded with flour and a fuel tanker designated to secure service needs.
This aid comes as part of joint efforts between several organizations, including the Syrian Arab Red Crescent, the World Food Programme (WFP), the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), and the Aga Khan Foundation, aimed at providing humanitarian and service support to the affected population in the governorate.
A responsible source in the Syrian Arab Red Crescent confirmed in a special statement to the "SANA" agency: "We continue to deliver humanitarian aid to Sweida Governorate, in coordination with the relevant authorities and international partners, to meet the needs of affected families and alleviate their suffering," adding: "Previous convoys included various types of support such as food, medicine, and shelter materials, reflecting our commitment to reach all those in need without exception."
The source indicated that sending this aid expresses the commitment of all participating parties to support the residents and assist them in light of the difficult circumstances, emphasizing that these efforts come within the framework of the Syrian government's commitment to support the people of Sweida and enhance national cohesion, and to face current challenges with collective solidarity.
