The Arrival of Azerbaijani Gas at the Jandar Power Generation Station in Homs

Today, Saturday, Azerbaijani gas arrived at the Jandar power generation station in Homs Governorate, to begin operating the station with natural gas, in the presence of the Assistant Minister of Energy for Oil Affairs, Ghiyath Diab, and the Governor of Homs, Dr. Abdul Rahman Al-Ama.
In a statement to "SANA", the Assistant Minister of Energy clarified that operating the station with natural gas will significantly contribute to improving the electricity situation, as the station is expected to produce between 700 and 800 megawatts daily, which will help increase the number of hours of electricity supply in various Syrian governorates.
According to the assistant, this step represents a qualitative leap in the energy sector, and efforts are ongoing to ensure meeting citizens' electricity needs within the framework of continuous efforts to develop the energy infrastructure in Syria.
