Executive Office of the Syrian Sports Federation: Olympic athlete Maan Asaad has not been excluded.

Rumors have circulated in recent days about the exclusion of Olympic champion Maan Asaad from his place of residence and his expulsion for reasons described by some as "illogical." However, official sources have denied these rumors, confirming that the situation is different from what is being circulated.
According to statements by Faras Tait, a member of the Executive Office of the General Sports Federation in Syria, to the local newspaper "Al-Watan," the information being circulated about the issue is baseless. Tait explained that the main goal in the upcoming period is to preserve the sports champions in all games and provide them with financial, administrative, and technical support.
Tait added that the champion Maan Asaad was transferred to the Tishreen Hotel for purely logistical reasons, and he continues his daily training normally without any obstacles.
He also pointed out that the issue of salaries, bonuses, and incentives that some voices have raised is currently being fully studied, including previous contracts made during the previous General Sports Federation. New contracts will be signed based on the current data and available resources.
