The "Syrian News Channel" will officially launch tomorrow, Monday, 5-5-2025, at 5:00 PM, with its new visual identity via satellites, as part of the Ministry of Information's plan to develop official media and enhance its presence.

The channel's director, Jameel Sorour, confirmed to SANA that the channel's trial broadcast started two days ago on the "Nile Sat" satellite on the frequencies: 12303 H 27500 - 11938 V 27500, and it is also available on the "Suhail 1" and "Suhail 2" satellites owned by "Suhail Sat" Qatari company.

Sorour added that the channel will cover Syrian events from a national perspective, through news bulletins and diverse programs focusing on political, economic, and livelihood affairs, in addition to enhancing its presence on social media platforms, which were previously neglected.

The official launch comes after Minister of Information Dr. Hamza Al-Mustafa announced on April 20 the opening date, coinciding with the formation of the new government, following the successful five-hour trial live broadcast on social media on March 29.
