The Syrian Ministry of Transport announced today, Tuesday, the resumption of registration for obtaining a driving license in all driving schools in Syria starting from next Sunday, July 20, after a temporary suspension due to organizational and technical work.
In statements to "SANA", the Director of the Licensing Department at the Ministry of Transport, Abdul Azim Al-Sadeq, explained that the decision comes within the ministry's plan to regulate the issuance of driving licenses and facilitate procedures for citizens, while maintaining the quality of training and traffic safety standards.

The registration suspension period included updates to the licensing mechanism, which involved developing the infrastructure of training centers, standardizing evaluation criteria, and studying amendments to fees in consideration of costs and trainees' rights.
