Syrian Ministry of Health Sends Medical Aid Convoy to Al-Suwayda after Opening Safe Passages

The Syrian Ministry of Health announced the dispatch of a medical aid convoy to the province of Al-Suwayda, consisting of 20 fully equipped ambulances, along with specialized medical teams and large quantities of medicines and emergency supplies.
Health Minister Dr. Mosaab Al-Ali stated: "The convoy was prepared several days ago, but it was unable to enter Al-Suwayda due to Israeli occupation airstrikes," confirming that "the ministry is committed to providing support to all those in need across all Syrian territories."
The minister pointed out that the convoy's movement came after the recent developments witnessed in the province last night, following the success of the security forces in "evacuating tribal fighters and implementing a ceasefire," allowing for the opening of safe passages that are now being used to deliver aid to the National Hospital in Al-Suwayda.
On her part, Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Hind Qabouat emphasized the importance of providing medical, food, and relief support to the residents of the province, stressing that "serving the Syrian people is the ministry's core mission, in coordination with relevant authorities."
Governor of Al-Suwayda Dr. Mustafa Al-Bakour noted that this aid aims to compensate for the severe shortages in medical supplies and foodstuffs during the past period, indicating that service institutions will soon resume their operations in the electricity, water, and telecommunications sectors.
