The Syrian Minister of Information, Dr. Hamza Mustafa, said today, Wednesday, that there are agreements to be signed with government sectors and private companies covering areas such as banks, construction, and cybersecurity.
During a press conference at the Four Seasons Hotel on the occasion of the Syrian-Saudi Investment Forum in Damascus, Minister Mustafa confirmed that the Syrian-Saudi forum will result in agreements providing 50,000 direct job opportunities, with the signing of 44 agreements with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia worth 6 billion dollars.
He noted that the agreements cover all sectors and are distributed across Syrian provinces, not limited to a specific region.
The Minister added: "We are working to attract private investments in the energy sector and have discussed with a group of Saudi investors about cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and issues where the media sector intersects with communications."
