Minister of Education in Syria, Dr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Turk, emphasized today, Monday, the need to strengthen the delegation institution, participate in decision-making, and work with a team spirit, pointing out that several decisions have been issued regarding expanding the scope of delegation in making administrative decisions. According to the ministry's Telegram channel, Minister Turk stated: "As part of our vision aimed at developing the educational system in the new Syria and enhancing the effectiveness and efficiency of educational administration, we fully realize the importance of applying the principle of administrative decentralization." The Minister of Education explained that the decisions relate to the management of the educational process in the provinces by distributing powers among the governors and directors of education in the provinces, emphasizing that enhancing this principle will enable the ministry to achieve a more flexible and effective response to local needs, which vary according to the actual situation and available requirements in each province. Minister Turk added that the principle of administrative decentralization is a strategic step aimed at achieving sustainable educational development, contributing to improving the quality of the educational process, and enhancing its efficiency overall, noting that this measure will lead to quality improvement. Minister Turk confirmed that this will ultimately enhance the ability of educational institutions to quickly respond to meet these requirements, participate in exercising authority and bearing responsibility, and contribute to building an integrated educational system based on the principles of transparency, efficiency, participation, and innovation. The Minister concluded his statement by saying: "We look forward to working together, whether in the public, private, or local community education sector, which we rely on greatly at this stage to promote and implement these principles, serving our future generations and reflecting the aspirations of the Syrian society in the field of education."
