Syrian Minister of Education Discusses Ways to Enhance Joint Educational Cooperation with Save the Children Organization

Minister Turko reviewed during the meeting the challenges facing the ministry in the return of displaced students from neighboring countries, and providing suitable educational places for each student in schools, confirming that the ministry has adopted emergency response and strategic plans to deal with these challenges, and that the work is done scientifically and methodically.
Minister Turko also emphasized the importance of enhancing partnership with the organization to support every child's right to education in Syria, pointing out the ministry's efforts in activating enrichment activities within schools.
For her part, Suyerbuto affirmed the organization's commitment to enhancing educational cooperation with the Ministry of Education, and supporting it by all possible means, emphasizing that education is one of the fundamental pillars of the organization's work in Syria, and that the organization is ready to provide support in areas of education for category B students, in addition to compensatory education.
It is worth noting that Save the Children is a British non-governmental organization dedicated to defending children's rights around the world, and is considered the first independent movement advocating for children, as it provides relief aid and helps support them in developing countries.
