The Minister of Education in the Syrian Arab Republic, Dr. Mohammad Abdul Rahman Turkom, accompanied by the Deputy Minister of Interior, Brigadier Ahmed Latouf, conducted an inspection tour of a number of Basic Education certificate exam centers in the Tartus Governorate to ensure the smooth progress of the examination process.

The tour, which also included the Deputy Minister of Education, Youssef Anan, and the Director of Education in Tartus, Mohannad Abdul Rahman, involved monitoring the level of questions in the second-to-last subject, listening to students' feedback, and evaluating the general atmosphere inside the examination halls.

Minister Turkom expressed his appreciation for 'the level of organization and efforts exerted by the Education Directorate in cooperation with the relevant authorities to support the smooth conduct of the examination process,' noting that 'organizing the examination process contributes to graduating a generation qualified to participate in the future reconstruction of Syria.'

Brigadier Latouf, on the other hand, emphasized that 'exams are the result of a full year of study, in addition to nine years of continuous study, after which the student moves on to a new stage, which is the secondary stage,' wishing 'success and good luck to all students.'
