Syrian internal security announces the end of its military operation in Sanamein.

The Syrian Internal Security Forces announced today, Thursday, March 6, 2025, the completion of military operations in the city of Sanamein in the countryside of Daraa, after gaining full control of the city.
This step came following an intensive military operation that started yesterday morning, Wednesday, March 5, where security forces stormed positions held by the armed groups of "Muhsin Al-Himid" in the city.
The clashes escalated after casualties, including a child, were reported on Tuesday, March 4, following an attack by unknown assailants on members affiliated with the Al-Himid group.
The intense clashes during the military operation resulted in the death of 15 individuals, including 8 members of the Internal Security Forces, 6 local militants, and one civilian. Additionally, several civilians, including women and children, were injured due to the ongoing clashes.
During the intense military operations, a security siege was imposed on the western neighborhood inhabited by Al-Himid group members. The neighborhood was stormed using heavy machinery, causing damage to civilian homes and escalating tension in the area.
Security sources confirmed that the operation aimed to restore security and stability in the region after the recent surge in violence witnessed in the city in the past few days.
