The Syrian Ministry of Interior announced today, Saturday, a reduction in passport fees for Syrians accepted to perform the Hajj pilgrimage for the year 2025.
The ministry set the passport fees at one million Syrian pounds domestically and 400 US dollars abroad.
This decision will be effective starting from April 16, 2025.

On the 15th of this month, the Syrian Ministry of Awqaf issued a new directive aimed at facilitating procedures for Syrian pilgrims residing in the Gulf countries.
The Awqaf stated: "The directive allows Syrian pilgrims residing in Qatar, Kuwait, and the UAE to pay for this season's Hajj costs directly through one of the approved banks in Syria."
According to the directive, the payment period starts on Tuesday, April 15, and continues until Sunday, the 27th of the same month.
