Syrian Immigration and Passports Department: Grants passports to individuals against whom search warrants have been issued.

The Syrian "Immigration and Passports" administration has announced the possibility of issuing passports to individuals who have warrants issued by the intelligence of the former regime and those who were forcibly recruited into its forces.
"Immigration and Passports" stated that they are bypassing the procedures against those wanted by the regime's intelligence, except for those with criminal or judicial cases, or those prohibited from leaving the country until their status is corrected, according to media sources.
They also mentioned that they are verifying old "search warrants," and in case of missing documents, they refer to their available archives and then contact the relevant authorities to find a suitable solution.
According to "North Press," the administration clarified that individuals who lost their documents during recent events can obtain an exception by documenting the incident at police stations, with the possibility of imposing fines on them.
Finally, "Immigration and Passports" confirmed that forcibly recruited individuals can currently obtain a passport, which does not affect those who have been exempted and discharged from mandatory service, except for those facing public or private lawsuits.
