The Syrian Ministry of Health signed a cooperation agreement with InterHealth company on Thursday in the field of hospitals, pharmaceutical factories, and medical technology.

In a statement to SANA, the Syrian Health Minister, Dr. Musab Al-Ali, emphasized the importance of the agreement as it begins at the level of health infrastructure, provides job opportunities when the project starts in hospitals and factories, provides the necessary health facilities to support the health sector's needs, in addition to expanding work for export to neighboring countries and supporting medical technology that we lack.

On the other hand, the President of InterHealth company and the President of the Saudi British Business Council, Dr. Emad Al-Zakir, explained that the agreement includes conducting special governmental partnerships in the field of hospitals.

Dr. Zakir also pointed out that the investment field in the health sector in Syria is broad due to the damages it has suffered in recent years, indicating that the agreement will involve transferring foreign expertise, training Syrian medical staff, equipping hospitals, and rebuilding infrastructure.
