The Syrian Health Minister, Dr. Moaz Al-Ali, today Tuesday, discussed with a delegation from UNICEF headed by the organization's representative in Syria, Mertichell Reilany, ways to enhance cooperation in the health field.
The two sides discussed during the meeting the mechanism of cooperation in the field of nutrition, supporting the rehabilitation and operation of destroyed health centers, and securing the basic needs of the health sector in Syria.
Dr. Al-Ali also emphasized the necessity of developing a health plan that is in line with the current reality and requirements of the stage, adapting to changes according to priorities, appreciating the strategic partnership with UNICEF, and the support it provides to the health sector in Syria.
On her part, Reilany confirmed the organization's continued support for the efforts of the Ministry of Health in the field of primary healthcare, and holding regular meetings to coordinate work and meet the needs.
