The Syrian Ministry of Health launched the Syrian Board program today, Thursday, during a press conference at the ministry's building in Damascus.

The Minister of Health, Dr. Moaz Al-Ali, emphasized during the conference that this program is not just an organizational step, but a comprehensive national path to enhance medical education, integrate modern methods, and engage them in this process. He pointed out that the Syrian doctor has always been distinguished by his knowledge, competence, and creativity, as recognized by all countries where they have worked.

Minister Al-Ali mentioned that the program focuses on three main axes: the first is the development of specialized medical education, including updating scientific councils, activating continuous medical education, adopting modern training tools. The second is organizing medical practice by developing laws, regulating healthcare workers, adopting a clinical privileges system. The third is supporting learners and trainees by opening up prospects for professional development, providing psychological and professional support, and sustainably connecting domestic doctors with their counterparts abroad.

Dr. Al-Ali emphasized that the success of this program lies not only in words or decisions but in the integration of efforts, sincerity of intention, and clarity of purpose, reaffirming the Ministry of Health's commitment to developing the medical education path.
