The Syrian Foreign Ministry said today, Friday, that the ministry's technical delegation visiting Libya to settle the legal status of Syrian citizens announces that it is providing a set of urgent consular services for the citizens to facilitate their situations until the opening of the Embassy of the Syrian Arab Republic in Libya soon.
- Extension of passports for one year (requires the expired passport and personal attendance or first-degree relative).
- Issuance of travel documents valid for one-time travel to Syria only.
- Certification of official documents certified by the Syrian or Libyan Foreign Ministry.
The ministry confirmed that the services are provided free of charge and without intermediaries or external offices.
It stated that the temporary location is: Tripoli International Fair – Omar Al-Mukhtar Street. Working hours: Friday (3 PM – 9 PM) / other days (9 AM – 7 PM).
