Syrian Education Ministry inaugurates training session and seeks to adopt "Koha" management system.

The Ministry of Education inaugurated a training course in the Libraries Department in collaboration with the Libraries and Information Department at Damascus University and fourth-year graduation projects students, to train on using the integrated library management system Koha. The ministry stated, "This system is one of the open-source software that provides digital services for office work by automating educational documentation libraries, supporting digital transformation in educational institution libraries, and contributing to adopting the latest standards for organizing and providing information, enhancing leadership and innovation in knowledge resources management."
